We recently had tier-on-tier plantation shutters installed at our home and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results!
We considered several companies when we were looking to add shutters to our home and straight away, after meeting Duncan and having initial discussions with him, we knew they were the right company for us to go with. From the design ideas, the quality of the shutters and the attention to detail conveyed throughout the initial process felt the right fit for what we wanted, and all at a very competitive price too.
Duncan kept us regularly updated regarding our order and on the day of install, both Duncan & Jon were not only incredibly efficient but also meticulous in their work, paying great attention to detail to ensure a perfect fit, which wasn’t an easy feat with our wonky walls. The shutters have given us better insulated rooms, the privacy which was our main reason for installing shutters and an aspect of light control too. So happy to be ditching the curtains!
The shutters themselves are of excellent quality, crafted from hardwood timber that has added a touch of elegance to all the rooms we had them installed in. They have completely transformed the look of our home, offering both style and functionality. We couldn’t be more pleased with our shutters and the service we have had (again) from West Country Shutters. Any national can sell you shutters, but West Country Shutters were the only ones who gave us design advice - and that, along with the great personal service, makes all the difference. We went for something slightly different after Duncan suggested it and we are thrilled with the end result. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

When we decided to have our loft conversion extended, we knew straight away that we would want West Country Shutters to install the shutters. We already had experience of their excellent work in 2017, with shutters installed in all of our downstairs windows.
Again, we discussed our requirements with Duncan,
who is very easy to talk to. He made very useful suggestions and spent a lot of time talking through everything.with us.
The installation has now been completed successfully by Duncan and Steve and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. We are especially pleased with the 3 folding doors leading from the bedroom into the en-suite. This was Duncan's suggestion and we are thankful that we listened to him.

Have had 3 windows done in my Victorian home with West Country Shutters and I cannot fully express how pleased we are with the result. My husband wasn’t initially too sure about shutters in general but he now thinks that it was the best thing we ever did.
